Milenna

Milenna, a classmate and “friend” of Veronikka, is 16 years old but a few months older. She is the pampered daughter of her mom and dad, the wealthy and popular girl at school, and it annoys her that people don’t recognize her in the town. It’s as if everyone knows her within the school walls, but once the school day ends, the name “Milenna” doesn’t come up in conversation, which makes her blood boil.

She is Math’s girlfriend and is extremely possessive of him—she refuses to lose him. From a young age, she knew that a girl of her high status deserved a future husband of equal standing, so Math, the son of the town’s historic architects, is perfect for fulfilling that desire.

Milenna loves writing in her diary about her school day, the compliments and gifts she received, gossip about her friends, and the not-so-friendly girls who roam the school alongside her.
Better than anyone, she knows her mother’s secret and swears to take it to the grave.
Her father, an important social worker well-established in his job, struggles to handle her. He turns to books for guidance on parenting, but Milenna refuses to be “basic.”
